[MacTUG] FYI: OS X 10.9 Mavericks xcode changes

I am not really sure this will matter to most of us, but I had a student who after upgrading to 10.9 with the Xcode updated report that 10.9 uses a different C complier and/or version than what 10.8 does. 

This was causing him problems as he needed the version that matched what his course was using.

A quick search on this, revealed a number of similar messages relating to other programming tools/libraries being different as well.
