[MacTUG] Remote syslog with facility and level.

Hi all,

>From a Nexus iMac (10.6.6), I'm having problems logging information to a remote syslog server with an specific facility and level. If I send the message with the default facility it works.

Working:
syslog -s -r hostname.uwaterloo.ca -l Info "testing syslog from iMac: Info level"

Not working:
syslog -s -r hostname.uwaterloo.ca -k Facility local7  Level Info  Message "testing syslog from iMac facility.level: local7.info"

Any suggestions?
