[MacTUG] Can't mount a volume

Hi Richard,
All Xserves have screaming fans. I know I have one sitting beside
me. :-)
Sounds corruption on main boot volume. You will need to boot from Mac
OS X Server 10.5 and run the Disk utility (via Menu item) to try and
repair internal drive and then repair permission (In that order). If
it can't correct then the damage is more severe and I would suggest
booting with Alsoft DiskWarrior CD and repairing internal drive. http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/index.html
Later take quite a bit longer as it investigates every file.
Once that is fixed you will find it will all be happy again. Reboot of
internal drive again and go.
