[MacTUG] Speeding up email on Mac

If you follow the discussions in the link Marlon provided, there is a  
easy one line command that seems to work fine.		

sqlite3 ~/Library/Mail/Envelope\ Index vacuum subjects;

from the terminal.

I am wondering if this is worth doing automatically at startup once a  
week/month for heavy email users? Thoughts anyone?
