Dear colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to an open postdoc position in the
field of NISQ era quantum computation, at the Stuart Blusson Quantum
Matter Institute of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver,
Canada. Please see the attached flyer, and pass it on to interested
individuals.

The application deadline is October 30th, 2020.

The positions can be associated with the research groups of Robert
Raussendorf, Roman Krems, Mona Berciu, Joe Salfi, Jeff Young and Ian
Affleck.

Themes of interest for research involve, but are not limited to:

• Quantum and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms

• Quantum hardware benchmarking

• Algebraic methods in quantum computing

Best regards,

     Robert Raussendorf
