What is happening? IST has resolved some of the issues following the release of the 2.9.2 version of WCMS 2.

Further updates will be shared as remaining issues are resolved.

The following issues have been resolved;

  * Users may notice that previously created "all day" events may not have "all day" checked when editing them.
  * Users may notice that newly created events are being created with the user's time zone instead of the one set in the event.

Note: It is recommended to review the time set on events that have been created or edited since May 28, 2023, particularly for sites that are on pilots or were launched after this date. Sites that have been created or edited since June 12, 2023 should also be reviewed.

What is happening? There have been 4 main issues reported after the release of the new version of WCMS 2 .<https://uwaterloo.ca/web-resources/news/wcms-292-release?> IST is aware of this and is currently troubleshooting these issues.

When is this happening?

  * Users may notice that previously created "all day" events may not have "all day" checked when editing them.
     * Please be careful when editing to recheck "all day", to ensure that this setting remains applied. Events created since the release of WCMS do not have this problem.
  * Users may notice that newly created events are being created with the user's time zone instead of the one set in the event.
     * For now, please make sure to set the time zones appropriately. Older users may automatically be set to Africa/Abidjan if they have never selected a time zone.
  * Users may notice renamed files that include spaces cannot be downloaded when using the webform's file renaming functionality.
     * Please ensure that any renaming being done will not introduce spaces to avoid this problem.
  * Users may notice AJAX errors when attempting some autocompletes.
