I got the following message on my Mac after an OS update
[cid:6CDA70D1-69B8-4204-AF6C-A957F6C2AF11 at hitronhub.home]
In this case, it isn’t malware but an old HP printer utility that runs in the background “listening” for an initiation of a scan from the HP multi-function printer that someone has pressed the scan to computer button on it.
Removing this utility from the system ( or startup) and restarting will solve this issue.
Note, there maybe a newer version of this HP utility ( mine was dated 2017 and version 1 ), but as I don’t use it I didn’t bother checking into this.
