[MacTUG] New University WCMS web search tool - November 5

What is happening? The WCMS web search tool will be moving to the Google Programmable Seach Engine platform. The following changes will be made to the search tool:


  *   Search results may appear in a different order
  *   Keymatches (a.k.a. “promoted items”) will be more prominent
  *   Maps will no longer appear in search results
  *   Additional visual changes to better resemble the WCMS



When is this happening? Thursday, November 5 between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.


What is the impact? No outage is expected during the above maintenance window; site-specific searches may temporarily return results from all sites. Accessing search within the WCMS will remain unchanged (via the global header and resulting modal window).
