This implies that fusion drives worked to begin with.  ;)

>From what this article https://www.macrumors.com/2017/09/18/apple-files-system-no-fusion-drive-support/ is saying the new Apple File System won’t work with Macs with fusion drives and that if one tries to install High Sierra on such system the procedure to get back to HFS+ isn’t easy.

 

It also states " the new Apple File System (APFS) feature will be limited to Macs with all-flash built-in storage”, which sounds like it also won’t work with system with standard hard drives either.
