What is happening? The University of Waterloo's SSL/TLS certificate authority (CA), GlobalSign, made a planned change to their root certificates that has caused un-intended wide-spread connectivity issues for all SSL/TLS protected University of Waterloo sites. IST will announce a solution once it is known.

What is the impact? Visitors may see messages incorrectly indicating that the certificate has been revoked. Sites may not be visible to site visitors in some browsers.

Questions or concerns? Please contact the IST Service Desk, helpdesk at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:helpdesk at uwaterloo.ca> or ext. 44357.
