[MacTUG] FYI: Symantec removal steps

Below are the steps needed to remove Symantec from a Mac.

The uninstall page is found at https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH103489.html and I would suggest using the SymantecRemovalTool (ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/tools/mactools/SymantecRemovalTool.zip) version.

Just a heads up, if you simply click on the tool you will see the following message

What you need to do is right-click or Ctrl-click and choose Open as shown below:

Which will give you the following dialog where you can click on the Open Button.

Also, this script will launch the terminal app and also prompt you for an administrative password.
