[MacTUG] Setting a custom umask in OS X

After installing a packaged Eclipse, discovered that it would have the Do Not symbol for other users besides
the user that packaged it.  Finder would misinterpret this as being a PPC application.
Found a thread from 2014 that claimed your umask has to be 002 not 022 when untarring so that group write
is allowed.  The Apple article explains how to do that under the various OS's.
