[MacTUG] Issues with Deploystudio: more than 4-5 macs NOW results in timeouts

For years I have been rebuilding my labs, imaging about a dozen macs at a time. Now (starting with the spring rebuild) any more than 4 or 5 macs and I get issues such as “Unknown Host” and the –1001 timeout error.

I can netboot the dozen macs (to the same server deploystudio is on), I just cannot get deploystudio working. I know it is not a specific issue with a particular configuration of a client, as the problematic clients will behave when I try again when the other macs have finished reimaging. When the issue is happening, the server cannot even ‘talk to itself’ in that starting DeploStudio Admin on the server results in an Unknown Host event (and to be clear the Deploystudio Repository is located on the same server).

Any suggestions?
