[MacTUG] Scheduled testing of the Emergency notification system – May 20

What is happening? We will be testing the University’s emergency communication system.

When is this happening? Tuesday, May 20, 8:00 am - 8:15 am.

What is the impact? This test is limited to updating the main University of Waterloo homepage with relevant information that would be displayed in the event of a campus emergency. Please be advised that this is just a test and the message displayed will read “This is a test of UW’s emergency communication system. Go to the home page for information.”

There are two different tests that will be carried out - one to display a message banner across the top of the page and the other to replace the entire page content.

In the event of a real emergency during this test, please contact Police Services at 519-888-4911, or extension 22222.
