[MacTUG] playing with PF (via the IceFloor app)

I am using Icefloor (http://www.hanynet.com/icefloor/) to configure the PF firewall which is rather daunting to configure. I could at least understand what iptables do/did, ipfw seemed more arcane, and I have not even bothered with PF. Icefloor is quite good, tho he changed the interface a lot when he went to version 2.x and it could not import in the old rulesets from the 1.x version I used. So from now on I make sure I have a list of what ports I want active before I upgrade!!

At any rate I have my servers and workstation reasonably well locked down (this is NOT and invite to try to get it!!) and they can still use the tools I need (deploystudio/netboot, profile manager, ARD, etc). I am not going to post what ports I have open but if you are curious I can email you.
