[MacTUG] Composer 8.5.2 creating a ROOT folder!

Hi there
When I install a package created in Composer and the package has been tweaked, I am getting everything put in a folder called ROOT when the package installs.

It seems to work fine until I do the tweaking. The tweaking usually involves me adding a directory to the package (something I have done many times) -- usually stuff being added to the user template.

FYI, it is not just the stuff that I added that is getting plopped in the template, it is usually the whole app. I have done this plenty of times in the past and not had this issue.

Any others experienced this?
