I know steve, I should be doing this in WGM fiddling with MCX ;-)

but as a quick and dirty to keep the app store out of users' docks, this works
http://list.jamfsoftware.com/pipermail/casper/2011-January/009705.html

I remember playing with dockfixup.plist a while ago but have not played with it recently, just using the dock.plist file to do my dirty work for me.

I took the option of deleting the reference to App Store in the file, versus deleting it or scripting any deletion. I have been a bit lazy this term (well actually, I am busing doing some other stuff) so I did not update my base OS install image, so I have a few downloads walloping it as a part of the install script that deploystudio runs. I am happy to see that a new dockfixup file does not get reinstalled.
