Our Exchange 2007 environment is running on Windows Server 2003. Our next major upgrade is to Exchange 2010 which requires Windows Server 2008. At this point there are no plans to upgrade our current Exchange 2007 environment to Windows Server 2008.

Just a quick note to check what MS server version you have to get this
functionality.

Yes Snow Leopard client will connect to MS Exchange for messages,
meetings, contacts via Mail, iCal, AddressBook; however, it uses the
new web protocols/access found in Window 2008 server to do that. This
maybe the case with latest MS Entourage and future MS Mac Outlook as
well (not sure?).

Upgrading Windows 2003 server to 2008 server seems hurdle for most of
the customer I have talked to. It may require some additional upgrade
planning and budget.
