This is great news for entourage/connect.uwaterloo.ca users

I have been beta testing a version of Entourage that is more exchange friendly — It can understand the GAL, let users load their contacts onto the server, works much better with calendars (when bookit is replaced), etc etc. It does provide a superior Exchange experience. (Yes I know Snow Leopard is coming in a few weeks which will also provide a superior exchange experience — it will be great to have these 2 options)

from this page:

   * Enhanced Autodiscover service to easily configure account and automatically keep settings up to date.
    * Synchronization between Exchange Server and Entourage 2008 Notes, Tasks, and Categories.
    * Addition of an Enable Logging (troubleshooting) preference, to log all events that can be used as diagnostic information.
    * Built-in logging with extensive reporting of diagnostic information.
    * Use of attachments in Entourage for Exchange calendar events.
    * Resolve names when composing mail and invites while outside of work without requiring VPN and LDAP.
