[MacTUG] Photoshop CS: copying images to a network folder

Situation:
A student had scanned an image and saved it on her desktop as a jpeg. 
It was still open in Photoshop. Then she copied the image to her 
network folder. After several minutes, the beach ball of death was 
still spinning. After a long time, the file transfer thermometer 
finally displayed, yet, took a very long time to finish.


Specs:
- a g4 eMac
- Panther 10.3.9
- MacAdministrator 3.4.x to mount the network folders


Solution
Quit photoshop and then copy the image.
