Dear Ashwin,

Happy new year! I hope this email finds you well.

At the University of Amsterdam, we plan to invest significantly into 
Theoretical Computer Science in the near future, and we currently have 
several openings for new faculty members. I'm writing to ask whether you 
can think of any strong candidates.

In total there are three openings. Two of them are open-rank at the ILLC 
(we hope to get one Full and one Associate Professor, but this is flexible, 
one of them in quantum), and one is a tenure-track Assistant Professor 
position in my (new) theory group at the Informatics Institute. We hope 
that at least some appointees will be women. The deadline is on the 7th of 
February and the official job ads are linked from https://theory.amsterdam/

If you have any suggestions for people we could approach, please let me 
know. And please pass the information about these positions on to anybody 
you think might be interested. Thanks a lot for your help!
