Good afternoon Double Degree students,

You will receive information from UW Registrar's Office soon about making a CR type election for your winter 2020 courses (a copy here<https://uwaterloo.ca/registrar/news/your-winter-2020-grades-specifics-about-crncr-option> for your convenience). There are special issues Double Degree students need to be aware of. These include:

  * You can elect to receive a CR/NCR (credit/no credit) grade in any UW course by completing the UW form in Quest between April 26 and May 10. Use the UW form for UW courses. Your WLU courses will not appear on the UW form.
  * You can elect to receive a CR/WD (credit/withdrawal) grade in any WLU course by completing the WLU form in LORIS between May 20 and June 3. Use the WLU form for WLU courses. Your UW courses will not appear on the WLU form.
  * Once you make an election on the respective form, the grade for that course will be updated on both your UW and WLU records. There may be a delay in updating records, but all grades should match by mid-June.
  * You should expect instructions on how to access the Laurier form before May 20.
  * Your academic progression for winter 2020 has been adjusted to reflect COVID-19 circumstances.
     * All students will receive a PROM (promoted) standing on the UW Quest record. Students may receive additional information from their academic advisor.
     * Progression notations on WLU's LORIS record will continue to show "May Proceed" "Proceeds on Probation" or "Must Meet Progression by designated date". Students may get additional information from the BBA program advisor.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this process, please contact your academic advisor.

Regards,
Peter Wood & Shelley McGill
