[wics-announce] Call for Fall 2018 applicants for WiCS Ugrad Committee

Hi everyone!

We hope all is well with your term thus far. As the end of Spring 2018 approaches, it's time to look for WiCS Undergrad committee members for next term!


Being a part of WiCS will be an incredible opportunity to learn, network, and make a meaningful impact. Roles include, but are not limited to, static website development, event organization, Linux systems admin, university administration, etc. If you feel like WiCS has helped you in some shape or form, or you really enjoyed taking part in our events, we strongly encourage you to apply!


Please review the following guidelines:

  *   You don't need any prior experience to apply. If you have a desire to improve the social and academic environment of women and non-binary people in computer science, that's exactly what we're looking for.
  *   You should be comfortable committing several hours every week to WiCS
  *   Please ensure you'll be in Waterloo for the Fall 2018 term, either on a co-op or study term.
  *   Applications close on Sunday July 8th at 11:59pm EST.
