Hi all! Want to take a break from midterms? Interested in attending some
fun events? WiCS has some great things happening this month and we would
love to have you join us.

*Dinner with the Professors*
Interested in talking with your profs but not sure how to start? Good
news!! WiCS is hosting ‘Dinner With The Professors’!

*When:* Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

*Where:* University Club (near PAC).

*Who:* Women and non-binary individuals in math, computer science, or
related fields.

*About:* Come have dinner with the brilliant women who are professors at
Waterloo! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about their research,
academia, teaching, and your own academic interests.

*Note:* Tickets are $10 and sold in the MathSoc office (MC3038) until
Wednesday, March 1. *Registration is first-come first-serve.* If you can
not make it to the MathSoc office in-person, please email us to find a

*Security and Networking CTF with CrySP*

Have you ever wondered what exactly a "CTF <https://ctftime.org/ctf-wtf/>"
is? Do you want to learn how you too can become a HackerTM? Come out to
WiCS Undergrad's Security and Networking CTF (Capture the Flag) hosted in
collaboration with CrySP <https://crysp.uwaterloo.ca/>! This is a team
competition with questions about security, crypto, networking and
infrastructure! There will also be snacks and prizes!

*When:* Feb 28th, 2017.

*Where:* EV3 1408.

*Who:* Open to cis & trans women and non-binary individuals

*T-Shirt Design Contest*

Have a passion for design? Love fashion? Want to have your designs worn by
everyone around campus?
Submit a design to the WiCS T-Shirt Contest... you could be the next
trendsetter!

Designs must adhere to the following:

   - To be inclusive of women and non-binary individuals, designs cannot
   include gender-specific symbols.
   - Fit on A4 paper.
   - 1 or 2 colours on 1 solid colour shirt of choice.
   - Include "Women in Computer Science" or "WiCS".
   - Be appropriate and adhere to the University of Waterloo and WiCS codes
   of conduct <http://wics.uwaterloo.ca/code-of-conduct/>.

*When:* Submit to wics-ugrad at lists.uwaterloo.ca
