WOMEN OF VISION AWARDS

NOVEMBER 25, 2014

A New Award
The Anita Borg Institute is proud to announce a new award, just for students! The Student of Vision ABIE Award<https://t.e2ma.net/click/ertwu/ym7rzi/ymv27g> recognizes and celebrates a student who has a unique vision of how technology innovation can
solve important problems, and how inspiring more women in technology enables meaningful innovation. Students will submit a short video about their vision for the future. The three finalists’ videos will be aired at the Women of Vision Awards Banquet on May 14, 2015. The winner will receive $1,000 US dollars and a scholarship to attend GHC 2015 in Houston, Texas.

Women of Vision Awards Banquet

The ABI Women of Vision Awards Banquet<https://t.e2ma.net/click/ertwu/ym7rzi/u7w27g> is an event organized to honor and recognize women on the forefront of computing. This year it will be held in Santa Clara, CA on May 14, 2015. Students will be inspired by the accomplishments and stories of the ABIE award winners and connect with other women in computing. Last year over 900 people attended – most of them women, from students to senior executives.

Several of our generous sponsors underwrite tables for college students to attend this event for free. The student admission is free, but does not include hotel or travel expenses.

Applications for student scholarships to Women of Vision will open in December 2014
