Hello,

Consider taking advantage this workshop on predatory publishing and how to identify appropriate journals for publishing.  The workshop is being held in the Witer Learning Resource Centre in the Optometry building, 2nd floor.  Full details include:

Predatory Publishing
How do you choose a quality journal? What are predatory journals? How do I avoid publishing in a predatory journal? If you are curious about answers to these questions, this workshop is for you.
By the end of this workshop, you will:

  *   Understand what makes a journal predatory
  *   Have tips and tricks to use to identify quality and predatory journals
  *   Know who to reach out to for help
