[QuIN-Lab] [Fall2017: QuIN] Announcement

Dear All,

*1. Weekly Report Template*

   - Please use the following weekly report template.
      - I emphasize here (1) regular literature searches (2) critical paper
      reading.
   - The weekly report due is every *Sat. 5:59 pm EDT/EST starting from
   2017/9/9*.
   - You can upload your weekly report  (pdf format) in the *drop-box site
   of the QuIN Lab site*.

   - Please make sure whether you are able to generate pdf files.
   - First weekly report: (ADD) your term goal, break-down of tasks to
   achieve goals and agenda. If you don't have a clear picture, please make an
   appointment with me from today 9/6 and 9/9 Sat. so that you have
   responsibility to have a clear picture prior to the weekly report
   submission.


*2. Weekly Group Meeting*


   - First GRP MTG: 9/12/2017 Tuesday 5:15pm- @ QNC 3401 : All will present
   the vision of the term, Fall 2017.
   - Regular GRP MTG: Tuesdays 10am- @ RAC1-2004. A location/time may be
   subject to change depending on Prof. Kim's schedule, but the
   change notifications are expected to be sent out in advance.
   - Group Meeting Presentation slides should be uploaded into the *drop-box
   site of the QuIN Lab folder.* Note: when the file size is too big,
   inform Prof. Kim.

   - JC presenter: Send the choice of paper to all QuIN members one
   week prior to the presentation.

*3. QuIN Back-up server*


   - Make sure your folder is created in the server, which syncs to our
   QuIN server for the back-up.


*4. (ECE) Term Activity Report*


   - For those of you who are in ECE, you have to submit a term activity
   report every term except the very first term. The due of the report to me
   is First month, 15th, 11:59pm EDT/EST. Upon my approval, you are ready to
   submit the report to the department.
