faculty position in Quantum Information Theory.

The Computer Science Department of The University of Hong Kong is
inviting applications for a tenure track position (Assistant/Associate
Professor) in Quantum Information Theory, to commence on January 1st
2019, or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is on a three-year
fixed term basis with consideration for tenure before the end of a
second three-year contract.

Successful applicants should have an outstanding track record in
Quantum Information Theory and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science,
Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Candidates in the areas of quantum complexity theory, quantum
simulations, quantum machine learning, quantum Shannon theory, and
quantum cryptography are particularly welcome to apply.

The deadline for applications is October 31st 2018.

Applicants should send a completed application form, together with a
CV, a research plan, and a teaching statement to
recruitment at cs.hku.hk.
They should also arrange for three reference letters to be sent to
recruitment at cs.hku.hk before the deadline of October 31st 2018.
