The Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin- Madison seeks
applicants for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions beginning
August, 2015. Applications from experimentalists and theorists in condensed
matter physics, atomic physics, quantum optics, quantum sensing, quantum
information processing and allied areas will be considered.
The candidates will be expected to perform teaching, high-impact scholarly
research, and service duties. Undergraduate and graduate classroom and
individual instruction as well as supervision of graduate thesis research
are required.
At least two years as a postdoctoral researcher are required.
