*****************************************************

We would to draw your attention to the current advertisement for
Heilbronn Research Fellows in Quantum Information, which can be found at
www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AEK474/heilbronn-research-fellows-quantum-information/

These three-year posts are in effect half-time personal postdoctoral
positions (as distinct from posts with a predetermined research
project). The Heilbronn Institute is a partnership between the UK
Government Communications Headquarters and Bristol University, and
while Fellows work half-time for GCHQ, the rest can be used on
whatever research topics they wish.

To recognize the special nature of these posts, there is a salary
supplement of 3.5K pounds per annum in addition to Bristol's standard
academic salary scales, and each Fellow has a research support budget
of 2K per annum.

Fellows have to satisfy security clearance requirements. As described
in the advertisement and further particulars, the Director of the
Institute is willing to advise on eligibility. Apart from UK
resident UK citizens, current staff include citizens of the US, Canada
and Australia. Note however that citizens of EU countries other than
the UK are not eligible.
