Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to encourage you to submit a paper to and attend
the 2012 Quantum Information and Measurement (QIM) topical
meeting sponsored by OSA. QIM is one of three collocated meetings
that are part of Research in Optical Sciences: OSA Optics and
Photonics Congress being held 19-21 March 2012 in Berlin,
Germany. The Congress is designed to examine some of the latest
research advances in Optical Physics and Chemistry.

QIM covers the exciting, rapidly growing field of quantum
information and the cutting-edge theoretical and experimental
research being done worldwide.

Papers are being considered in the following topic categories:

 * Entanglement-enabled quantum technologies
 * Precise quantum measurement and quantum metrology
 * Non-classical light sources and novel detectors
 * Quantum imaging
 * Quantum sensors
 * Integrated and on-chip quantum devices
 * Quantum communication systems
 * Quantum optics of light-atom interactions
 * Quantum repeaters and quantum memory
 * Quantum nanomechanics and photonics
 * Quantum spintronics devices and applications

The submission deadline is 9 November 2011 17.00 GMT.

For information on paper preparation, invited speakers, and more
visit www.osa.org/qim.

Mark 19-21 March on your calendar today, and be sure to submit
