[MacTUG] FYI: Apple announces updated MacBook Pro and Mac Mini models with new high-end M2 chipsets

FYI for anyone trying to order an M2 14” or 16” MacBook Pro through the educational store portal;  I’ve noticed that all of the new M2 models are defaulting to the French Canadian keyboard option (even on the non-French SKUs).  I’ve already reported it the issue, but it’s still happening this morning.

It’s easy to miss, so I figured I’d mention it.

Your right Marlon, the 8GB of basic ram in the lowest priced model is on the low side.

For some applications of the mini, it likely is sufficient such as running a kiosk or such. If all you did was web browsing and email it likely is fine as well.
