[MacTUG] Apple wireless mice not showing up in profile, but working

I have a user who is having a problem getting their Apple wireless mice to show up.

In looking into this, I found that while I have a wireless mouse that is working, it doesn’t show up in the system preferences mouse

Bluetooth shows a mouse connected

But the mouse system preferences says there isn’t a mouse.

The bluetooth menu item shows it almost fully charged
