[MacTUG] How about a non-10.15 (i.e. 10.14) problem?

I found an update package on their site: https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/web_downloads/download_update_installers/R2019b

It’s a 4.13GB download so I hesitate to call it a patch.

MATLAB R2019b has an Update 3 but trying from inside MATLAB via its notifications or Help menu

results in a failure that it can't write to Applications ... no Authentication request dialog.

There also doesn't seem to be a patch installer from the site.



One has to resort to:



sudo /Applications/MATLAB_R2019b.app/bin/maci64/update_installer



or get a fresh download from their site
