[MacTUG] Thunderbolt 3 will become USB 4!

No kidding. Just to confuse things!! If apple will just accept thunderbolt 3's ascension to usb4 as a victory and sacrifice the Lightening connector, my world (or part of it haha) will be perfect!

A few incorrect assumptions I made about Thunderbolt 3

  1.  I assumed it was developed by Apple. It was not, it was developed by Intel with input by Apple
  2.  I thought it was basically USB 3 on a USB C connector but it is not as it has twice the bandwidth of USB 3
  3.  I thought it would always stay proprietary to apple!

But guess again!
