[MacTUG] Strange window behaviour

User with a Mac mini and Thunderbolt Display has windows that seem to open on the right half of the screen.

Dragging windows to the left edge has the windows jump back to a couple of inches from the left.

Fullscreen mode seems fine so it does seem to know the dimensions of the screen.
