I just updated a server from el cap to sierra. (I know it might look like I am behind but I really do not want to go to high sierra as I usually keep my servers running the same OS that the lab supports.)

I have 5.2 Server installed and 5.4 is available but only available for high sierra.

I can download 5.31 onto a Sierra mac that has not had the server installed – and then copy it to the server in question. This seems to work OK, but do you know any ways to trick my mac with the 5.2 server to upgrade to 5.31? I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall as then I will loose all my settings with is a pain

Comments?
