Update: A temporary message, "Time is displayed in Eastern Standard Time (Waterloo time)", has been added to all Event detail pages where the time zone is not Toronto or New York.

IST staff continue to investigate the issue.

Subject: WCMS Event location issue - March 24

What is happening? The start and end times for events entered in the WCMS where the location is in a time zone other than Eastern Standard Time (EST) are being displayed as their equivalent in EST.
Example: An event entered in WCMS as taking place in Edmonton, Alberta beginning at 8:00 a.m. is showing the start time as 10:00 a.m. (which is the time in EST).
What is the impact? All WCMS sites will be impacted. IST staff are investigating the issue. Please do not update event start and end times (unless absolutely necessary) as the team will apply a fix across all websites.
