[MacTUG] Upgrade to collaborate.uwaterloo.ca web space – June 9

What is happening?  The collaborate.uwaterloo.ca web space is being upgraded to Drupal 7.

When is this happening? Tuesday, June 9, between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m.

What is the impact? Collaborate sites will be available, however, any new content added to your site between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. may not be copied over to the new site. It is recommended that you not work on your site during the maintenance window.

After the work is complete: Collaborate users/site visitors will notice the following changes:

•         There is a new overall look for the space

•         “Groups” are now called “Spaces”

•         “Blogs” are now called “Discussions”

•         “Notebooks” are now called “Knowledge”

o   Please note: In the Knowledge section of the site, if a folder has a subfolder within it, clicking on the top folder will expand the folder hierarchy. Clicking again will collapse the folder hierarchy. If, however, a user wants to access the content within that top folder, the user must:

•  click the gear icon beside the folder name, and

•  click View metadata.
