[MacTUG] Fun with Profile Manager #237 ;-)

I am building a new profile manager server and everything was working fine. I was using deploystudio to configure the clients to the profile manager server. As I said, everything was fine, then I noticed I had set up my Mac server to automatically grab its static ip number from infoblox. I realized this was a server no-no so I quickly switched to manually configuring the ip number, DNS, search paths, etc. Please note that I did not change the ip number merely whether it was getting this (fixed) IP number from infoblox.

All of a sudden my enrolment in the profile manager was failing. Creating a new profile (now that I was manually configuring my server) fixed things. Perhaps some other issue was at hand but this new profile fixed the issue that happened immediately after switching how (the same) IP number was configured.

Weird.
