[MacTUG] RESOLVED: WCMS sites are experiencing issues - February 18

Update: Earlier today we experienced a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack#Distributed_attack> on a specific URL that affected all WCMS websites, causing intermittent downtime. IST staff identified and addressed the issue, and continue to investigate ways to prevent and/or mitigate similar attacks in the future.



WCMS websites were fully online and have been functioning as expected since approximately 11:30 a.m.
