[MacTUG] Changing default behaviour in Safari?

Looking for a way to change the default behaviour in Safari. Currently it downloads a .rdp file from a website, but I would like it to directly open the file with a specific application. It doesn't look like changing mime type associations is something we are able to access anymore. Any suggestions welcomed.
