[MacTUG] Please try to talk me into upgrading my labs to Lion ;-)

I am in a situation I have never been in before — I should replace some of my lab computers as they are rather long in the tooth (first gen intel iMacs) but I am not excited about migrating to Lion for a wide range of reasons, which includes, but is not limited to:

  * upgrading my servers to Lion
  * there is no feature in Lion that I feel I need for my lab environment
  * incompatibilities due to Rosetta leaving
  * figuring out Profile Manager and any differences in the golden triangle
  * the fact that I would be deploying Lion just in time for it to become obsolete!!! ARRRRRRGH

Has anyone deployed Lion in a lab environment? If so, I would like them to try to talk me into it, haha.

I really would like to replace about a dozen macs but I am starting to think that I might just wait till next year and do a larger upgrade at that time. This is the first time I have been in this situation where I might pass on an upgrade opportunity.
