[MacTUG] Apple Screen Still Capture

I've been trying to figure out how to capture screenshots of the
Apple Hardware Test and initial Setup Assistant for documentation
purposes and the camera shots tend to be crappy.
The only thing I've been able to think of is something that does
VGA/DVI/HDMI captures but they seem to start at $500 which is a bit
much for a couple of hours use.
Do you know of anyone with such hardware I can use for a couple hours
or another method to get real screenshots?
