I have an assortment:
calibre is the most important, because it can convert any (well, quite a
few) non-drm e-book format to epub, or to mobi; (and it has rudimentary
viewer)
Then you can use the Kindle reader for Mac / or in my case, my Kindle
Last Year I was using the Sony Reader Library App on an old iBook - free
download, but of course they want you to buy their books - big plus is
you can borrow drm protected e-books from Waterloo Public Library, and
others; or of course get drm free ebooks
I also have eReader, and Stanza, but haven't used them a lot. If I
remember, Stanza feature was wireless synch available to Stanza on ipod/ipad
