Steve, don't read the rest of this email (haha), but thanks Apple for letting us 'old dogs' not have to learn any new tricks…

For the rest of you, if you want to can have scroll bars in Lion behave the old way…
http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/qt/Os-X-Lion-Scroll-Bars.htm

I downloaded Lion at home and have tried the 'natural' scrolling direction for a few days. I can understand that it makes sense, but until I am in an environment that is 100% OS X Lion (and above) and touchscreen devices (iOS and others), I can't change. It messes me up too much when I sit down at a 10.6 Mac or a windows machine. I can see that in a few years this could be the default (especially as more people have touch screens be their main UI).

Similarly, I tried to live without having the scroll bars always visible, but I constantly wondering if there is more stuff that is not fitting in my window. I do not have a problem with the fact that they are smaller and less colourful (I actually like that change in them).
