The switch needs to support and be configured for LACP protocol

apparently this worked as far back as 10.4!

The interface is slightly different in 10.5 and 10.6

after you create the "bond"  AKA link aggregate on the server, you 
assign it the IP address, and you can then disable the individual 
ethernet ports in the Network configuration

Then, if you are using netboot, and Deploystudio, you have to configure 
them to enable netbooting, and imaging, over the "bond" rather than over 
a single ethernet
