[MacTUG] Firefox issue with OWA attachments

This is more of an FYI than anything else.

We've had at least one report of an issue with the latest versions of Firefox working with attachments in OWA (Outlook Web App). To summarize the issue... when viewing email messages in OWA with Firefox, the filetype/association isn't recognized (or provided) when you click on an attachment. So, you're given the option to download the attachment as a file. Once downloaded, the file is named "attachment.ashx" which has no application association so it can't be opened. The name of the file appears in OWA and you can rename the downloaded file to the original name and open it but it is a pain.

While it was reported to us as a Firefox for Mac issue, the problem appears to exist with the latest versions of Firefox for Windows also.

Attachment processing in Safari on the Mac works as expected as does Intenet Explorer on Windows (not surprisingly).

The relevant bugzilla report is here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=703015

There is a patch roll-up to Exchange that we are planning to put in place before the break but the patch manifold does not mention any changes to OWA and attachments so I don't expect this will address the issue. I think a fix is more likely to come from the Mozilla camp that Redmond.
