Initial Call for Papers:

The annual WatITis (Waterloo Information Technology and Information Systems) conference will be held in early December.

Our Co-Chairs for 2011 are Ed Chrzanowski and Lowell Williamson.

This one day conference will again bring you and your colleagues from across campus, face-to-face to exchange knowledge and experience.

We would like to invite you to actively participate as a speaker/presenter or panellist for one or more of our sessions in the areas of Teaching, Research, Institutional Support, Security, "Green" initiatives or General Interest. We also invite you to submit your ideas for session topics which you feel would be of interest to other IT professionals. We realize that this initial call is well in advance of the conference. By having our initial call at this time we are hoping to encourage speakers who might consider working on a project through the summer months to present at WatITis.

Please submit a brief synopsis of your topic and/or idea to Lowell Williamson, our program committee chair by May 10th, 2011. We will have a secondary call of papers at the normal time, later in the year.
