Does anyone know how to enable delegate email notifications in Exchange 2010 via ical?
Simply enabling a person as a delegate, does not cause the person to receive email notifications of the changes to one's calendar and this is what is needed.
If I am understanding the issue correctly, here is the problem...
Person A ( using ical ) makes person B ( using OWA) their delegate.
Person C invites person A to a meeting.
Person B acting as the delegate, wants to get an email ( in OWA ) about the meeting, which they will accept/decline on behalf of person A.
However, as person B doesn't get an email of the meeting, they aren't aware of this request.
